The emerging of the Microsoft Surface Duo Phone
Microsoft is finally back in the smart phone game with the Surface Duo after it has abandoned its mobile sales more than four years ago. It is the Microsoft’s newest Surface device.
This is a phone but also a new kind of dual-screen, hinged productivity device, according to Microsoft’s positioning.
Microsoft has recently started to take orders for the Surface Duo that costs US$1399 and begins shipping from 10-September.
Microsoft is pitching the Duo as a more useful tool than a conventional smartphone.

Surface Duo’s Limitations:
- Surface Slim Pen costs extra
- Duo does not support 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC chip for contactless payments.
- Price tag of USD 1399
